Mike Mahan

With over a decade of startup experience and a founding member of Stanley Ventures, Mike is Managing Director at STANLEY Ventures based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is responsible for identifying outside innovation relevant to Stanley Black & Decker along with leading investments and managing the STANLEY Ventures portfolio. Mike was the first team member to join STANLEY Ventures when the group launched in 2016 as part of Stanley Black & Decker’s SFS 2.0 Breakthrough Innovation Initiative. He was recognized in 2017 as one of Global Corporate Venturing’s Top 100 Rising Stars, and he sits in multiple Board positions within STANLEY Ventures' portfolio of companies.
Mike's primary responsibility is investing on behalf of the Tools business unit. He generally looks for innovation impacting power tools, hand tools, tool accessories, and construction technology.
